Eight years ago, a new volunteer with the Free Burma Rangers (FBR) befriended Wah Shee, a young man who had never heard the Gospel. In the hospital for an extended stay, Wah Shee received a Bible in his native language. For the first time, he read stories of David, Solomon, Samson, and Jesus. Captivated, Wah Shee gave his life to Christ and has since gone on to Bible school, becoming a teacher. Today, through audio Bibles donated by MegaVoice International, many Rangers carry the Word with them through Burma’s rugged terrain, finding peace amidst life’s difficulties.
A director with FBR shared that the demand for audio Bibles now far exceeds supply. Each year, hundreds of students receive these audio Bibles, listening to them together as they walk or rest, and share them with their families.
