Siberian Arctic "To the Ends of the Earth"
The Bible Society has distributed the Bible through MegaVoice Ambassadors in
Siberia to reindeer farmers. They have found that the players recharge even
without the sun through the use of lamps. They will now take the Bibles into other remote Arctic regions where people are without
access to God’s Word and need the unique features of the MegaVoice unit.
Peru The Yagua of the Amazon
A Wycliff translator found that the audio Word of God on MegaVoice Ambassadors was
very effective in the Amazon jungle of Peru among the Yagua people. The players have
held up well for over two years, despite jungle conditions, and are
very popular with the people.
North Africa Bible by Bicycle
AWR, Adventist World Radio, is distributing MegaVoice units to refugees in the North African desert. The units are loaded with radio programs in such languages as
Moro, Juba Arabic, Bari, Dinka, Zande and colloquial English. Each player contains 40 hours of programming, amounting to a year and a half’s worth of radio programs. They are distributed by workers on
bicycles throughout the area of North Africa where there is great civil unrest and genocide.
